Senior “A” Ensemble

     The Pacifica Ukes Senior “A” ensemble is the most prominent of the three performing groups in the program. The group is comprised of mostly high school aged students. They practise with the Junior “A” ensemble and then rehearse separately as an advanced combo. 

     The Senior “A” ensemble has performed extensively at local schools and various public events and venues throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, British Columbia. The group has made its mark in the musical world throughout the years by playing to audiences at the British Columbia Festival of The Arts, the B.C. Ukulele Conference, Kelowna School District Music Festival, and at the Pacific Basin International Music Festival in Hawaii.

     Every 3 years the Senior “A” ensemble, along with some of the Junior “A” ensemble, travels to Hawaii to perform and share in concerts and cultural exchanges with our Hawaiian counterparts.
